The CR.25bis had considerable potential, but was hampered by a gun armament soon revealed by operations as too week for both offensive and defensive purposes.

At the time of its service debut in 1936, the BR.20 had claims to being the world's most advanced bomber. It was soon overtaken by the pace of development in the Second World War.

The A.300/4 was an effective aircraft by the standards of the day, and the sale of some 700 aircraft to the new Italian air force was a considerable commercial croup for the manufacturer.

The Ca 133 was extensively used as a bomber and transport by the Italian air force in its colonial campaigns of the later 1930s.

The Ba.65 resulted from a hopelessly overambitious requirement, and was a poor warplane even in the single seat role finally adopted.

Despite its somewhat unusual and ungainly appearance, the Ca.3 was amongst the best bombers of the First World War.
