Despite its two seat designation the F.60 was a three-seater and France's sole heavy bomber of the early 1920s.

Sean here during landing gear trials, the Bre.462 was unsuccessful in securing a French production order. The sole prototype was sold to the Republican side in the Spanish Civil War 1936-39, and was lost at sea during February 1937.

Service Ceiling: 65,615 ft.
Range: radius 771 miles.
Armament: one 60-kiloton nuclear bomb, or 15,873 lb of conventional weapons including sixteen 992 lb of bombs or four AS.37 Martel air to surface missiles.

First used for reconnaissance , observation and artillery spotting, the Type LA was promoted to bomber status because of its sturdy structure.
